Arrow Canyon Wilderness Area

Arrow Canyon Wilderness Area spans nearly 28,000 acres of federally protected backcountry in Nevada, managed by the Bureau of Land Management as a primitive, non-motorized landscape. The area offers hiking and backpacking in authentic wilderness conditions, where solitude and untrammeled terrain are the defining character. All travel must be on foot; no roads, motors, or mechanized equipment are permitted. Visitors are expected to follow Leave No Trace principles strictly—pack out what you pack in, camp responsibly, and travel lightly on the land. Access is typically from trailheads on the periphery; research current conditions and water availability before heading out, as this is genuine backcountry with minimal infrastructure or marked routes.
